ABOUT PASTOR ESTHER K. FAULKNER
Pastor Esther K. Faulkner, is the third of six children born to the late Chief Apostle Dr. Monroe R. Saunders, Sr., and Elect Lady, Mother Alberta Brockington Saunders. A dynamic, bold, anointed psalmist, preacher, teacher, and church administrator, Pastor Faulkner is a woman called to minister to this present generation. Her firm foundation was established in the church of her youth, The First United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic), founded by her father, the Late Chief Apostle Dr. Monroe R. Saunders, Sr. In this local church setting, Pastor Faulkner honed her many God-given talents.
Pastor Faulkner served as the Chief Administrator & National Meeting Planner of the United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) for thirty-three years under the dynamic leadership of her father. On June 22, 2002 at the Annual Holy Convocation of the United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) she was ordained "Elder". During her tenure with the United Church, Pastor Faulkner also served as President of the National Women’s Department from 1999-2005, which she renamed “Women of Royalty”.
Having faithfully served her local church for many years Pastor Faulkner was installed "Pastor" of Faith Christian Center Church International, Inc. on April 9, 2011. On April 22, 2017, Pastor Faulkner was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas Christian University in Jacksonville, Florida.
Pastor Faulkner has labored in ministry with her husband, Bishop Roan S. Faulkner for more than 30 years. In 2011, they founded Faith Covenant Ministries International, Inc., and on July 13, 2018, Pastor Faulkner was appointed the General Overseer of Faith Covenant Ministries International Inc., and Faith Covenant Fellowship of Churches.
Pastor Faulkner has traveled extensively in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the West Indies. She is a sought after pastor, preacher, teacher, conference speaker and recording artist who uses all of her gifts and talents for the betterment of God’s people, motivating them to move forward and fulfill their God-given destiny. Through her “Queen Esther Ministries Women’s Retreats,” Pastor Faulkner has ministered to women from all across the globe since 1994.
In her professional life, Pastor Faulkner has been a realtor for more than thirty-six years, presently working in the Baltimore/Howard County vicinity.
Pastor Faulkner married Bishop Roan S. Faulkner on October 12, 1980 and they are the proud parents of three adult children: Diane, Clarence, (wife Jagoda), Roan, Jr., (wife Tanisha), and two beautiful grand-daughters, Karmyn and Clark.
